My Studio on Houzz

I recently found a terrific design website, Houzz. There are a lot of interesting articles and wonderful photos. I decided to post photos of my dining room and my art studio to get some feedback on sprucing them up. I was pleased to get over 30 replies with fantastic ideas for my dining room!  Even more exciting, though, was when contributing editor Vanessa Brunner emailed me asking if I'd be willing to have my studio photo included in her article about home office and studio design!
Here's my new studio look. I made long drapes using a paint drop cloth I bought at Lowe's for $20! it's a cotton hopsack type of material. I cut two panels then folded over the top edge two inches, sewing it down. This edge slips onto the rod. I sewed one side edge (the other edge is already finished) and the hem. I moved my book case to a different spot. I plan to hang my art on the walls, but here's a peek so far.
